[Link niet meer beschikbaar]Hackers took advantage of the holiday weekend and got into YouTube and iTunes, exposing accounts and disrupting video watching.
If you're an iTunes customer, you should check your account. Apple admits the music store was hacked and PC World reports that a rogue Vietnamese software developer hacked into the Apple store, looking to charge people's accounts to get hacker-created apps into the top-selling positions.
People's accounts that were hacked were forced to purchase hacker-created apps and they were billed as much as $500 on their iTunes account.
Apple's advice is for users to change their password and remove their credit card information. If you experienced a hacked charge to your account, contact Apple right away.
On YouTube, visitors looking to watch teen sensation Justin Bieber's videos were instead redirected to pornography.
Both sites are now fixed and no further issues exist.
